you can actually learn things on a date -- did you know this?

It's true! Given the right circumstance, you, too, can learn something on a date.

For example:
Did you know that heaven could actually be made out of shrimp?

(For proof, go to Applewood in Park Slope and order the Rock Shrimp
Risotto. No, really, drop what you're doing and go eat there.
Now! You'll thank me later.)

Do you know how many drinks is perilously close to too many?

(I'm afraid I might not be able to discern the gap between close-to-too-many and
actually-too-many. I pushed the envelope as valiantly as I could,
though.)

Wine with dirty words in its title can be surprisingly tasty.

(As an appropriate follow up to Lengs & Cooter Shiraz, I would suggest a
nice Schlong Cabernet or a light Hoohaa Chianti)

I also found out that This American Life, the NPR program, offers streaming versions of their archives online. Who knew??

There's much more, but you don't need to know all of it. All I'm saying is that I highly recommend going on a good date. It'll do wonders for your education!
