So, I'm back in Heathrow.
But this time, I'm on a pay-as-you-go computer, with only four minutes and forty two seconds to crank this one out. So be prepared for typos and shorthand.
Here are some observations from the trip, in brief:
1) Greek armpits smell a lot like armpits.
2) Business Class is THE way to fly. Sitting in the middle seat of a three seater in the row behind a toddler is NOT.
3) The world is small. The woman I sat next to on my flight from London to Athens passed me on the footpath from Imerovigli to Fira in Santorini.
4) The Mediterranean is the most beautiful body of water I've ever seen. So beautiful, in fact, that I had to strip my clothes off in front of my paretns and jump into it because it was so tempting. (My mother took pictures of my pile of clothes, just as evidence.)
5) It's interesting to be somewhere so beautiful on your own. (Yes, I was with my family, but I was romantically alone.) Some of the sunsets were so moving and so beautiful that I wanted someone to share them with... and yet, there was no one. I had to keep reminding myself to show them to my self.
And now I'm out of time. More soon, I promise!
